Camila Cabello celebrated her first night as the opening act on Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic World Tour by premiering a new song called “Inside Out.” The 20-year-old asked the audience to close their eyes and pretend they were in Jamaica, before launching into the dancehall-tinged bop. “Look on the bright side, you on the right side,” she coos. “You’re with the best of the best yeah, I’m talking all time.” That takes us the instantly catchy chorus: “I wanna love you inside out.”
This ranks alongside “Havana” as the best track to emerge from The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving. (due September 22) thus far. Lead single “Crying In The Club” was a little too derivative, while “I Have Questions” is more of a statement than a song.
