They’re back! UK girl group Little Mixreturns to the pop scene on Friday (June 22) with “Only You,” a collaboration with Los Angeles EDM trio Cheat Codes. The “No Promises” hitmakers shared a snippet of the track on social media this afternoon and it sounds like an emotional banger. “Once upon a time we had it all and somewhere down the line we went and lost it,” the ladies sing over acoustic guitar. “One brick at a time we watched it fall, I’m broken here tonight and no one else can fix me — only you, only you.”
Little Mix is coming off one of their most successful eras to date. While they failed to dent the Billboard Hot 100 with any of the singles from their million-selling Glory Days album, they racked up four UK top 10 hits with “Shout Out To My Ex,” “Touch,” “Power” and “Reggaetón Lento (Remix).” It will be interesting to see if Cheat Codes can give the girl group their first major US hit. (Believe it or not, they are yet to crack the top 50). See the cover and listen to a preview of “Only You” below.
