Oops, Mariah Carey did it again. As she’s been doing for months, MC dropped another bundle of remix EPs on Friday (Feb. 5), this time honoring her 2008 eleventh studio album, E=MC², as part of her ongoing #MC30 celebration. The latest party includes various versions of «I’m That Chick,» «I Stay in Love,» «I’ll Be Lovin’ U Long Time» and «Touch My Body.»
The seven-song, nearly 50-minute «I Stay in Love» EP features a number of Jody den Broeder house, «Big Vocal» and dub remixes as well as a trio of Ralph Rosario takes, while the four-song «I’ll Be Lovin’ U Long Time» has a modest four takes, including remixes with LL Cool J and T.I. and an a cappella mix. The «Touch My Body» collection is the fattest one, with a whopping 10 songs for one hour of music, including one with Rick Ross and The-Dream, several Craig Christensen club edits and three Seamus Haji & Paul Emanuel bangers.
She also issued a deluxe version of the album with two new tracks, «Heat» and «4real4real» with her old pal Da Brat and posted HD versions of the videos for those tracks. This week’s drop follows last week’s similar showering of gifts for the Lambily of remix EPs and HD videos from 2005’s The Emancipation of Mimi album.
