I’m not sure what that means, exactly, but it sets the tone for the Harley Weir-helmed shoot. RiRi poses outdoors at nighttime in the pics, which fall somewhere between grungy and ethereal. She even drew inspiration from a very unlikely source. “I want to look like Shirley Temple had dreads,” the 29-year-old quipped about one of the covers.
Apart from being the season’s cover queen, Rihanna reportedly has the followup to Antiin the can. That means we should be getting new music from her in early 2018.
