Cardi B’s career is going full-steam ahead right now. The Bronx MC recently became the first female rapper in nearly 20 years to score top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 without features with “Bodak Yellow”, and she’s been performing her signature hit at all the right places, from the VMAs to the BET Hip-Hop Awards. “Bodak Yellow” spent three weeks atop the Hot 100 and, as a reward, she’s signed a worldwide publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing.
Last month, Cardi found the time to perform “No Limit” with G-Eazy on the Tonight Show and she returned to late night TV Wednesday to perform “Bodak Yellow” on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The chart queen hit the Brooklyn stage in total rock star mode, wearing massive shades and a to-the-floor purple feather coat. Check out the performance below.
