Emma Watson has featured in a stunning (and revealing) fashion shoot that’s followed her on-screen ‘transition into a woman’ as Belle in Beauty And The Beast. But it’s got some people pretty angry.The 26-year-old appears virtually topless in the glamorous Vanity Fair cover shoot by British photographer Tim Walker for their latest issue, although the image has since garnered backlash for the fact the actress is bearing her breasts while being an outspoken feminist.
The criticism may not go down well with the actress, who admitted she had a 24-hour sulk after backlash for her HeForShe speech. Wearing an open-weave shawl that does little to cover her modesty, Emma looks striking in the image Vanity Fair have described as ‘maturing from Hermione to Belle’.The magazine also describes the pictures as a ‘metamorphosis from child star to leading woman’. The Vanity Fair cover shoot comes as Disney’s live action edition of Beauty And Beast edges closer to its UK release date, and Watson says the role has seen her come of age.
