If it’s one thing Taylor Swift does best, it’s put an unfortunate situation in her favor.
Two years after the songstress was completely torn apart on the Internet when Kim Kardashian called her a snake, Swift made the animal a central theme on her latest album. On the anniversary of so-called National Snake Day, the pop star was out and about in the streets wearing, yes, a snakeskin backpack.

It didn’t end there. Tuesday night (July 17), during her Reputation tour performance in Cleveland, Ohio, she took the opportunity during «Look What You Made Me Do» to acknowledge the day’s significance. “Happy National Snake Day, my favorite day of the year!» she shouted to the crowd. The video for «Look What You Made Me Do» had references to the Kardashian-West incident, and was widely questioned as a jab to the reality star and her rapper husband.
