The Chainsmokers leave childish things behind in the somber video for their Phoebe Ryan collabo «All We Know.» The Rory Kramer-directed bit stars Eye Candyactor Casey Deidrick racing his way through the city on a destructive rampage after receiving some mysteriously bad news. Even his video girlfriend, American Horror Story Hotel actress Jocelin Albor, can’t slow Deidrick down after he gets a fateful phone call.
One of his first stops is at a bodega for a bottle of booze (where he passes the ‘Smokers in the aisle in a blink-and-miss-it cameo), before he goes on a bender through the night that lands him on a mountaintop where he appears to find some peace. We never find out what the news is, but hopefully there’s a happy ending.
«All We Know» is one of five songs on the pair’s just-released Collage EP, which also features their smash hits «Closer» and «Don’t Let Me Down.» The Chainsmokers will perform their chart-topper with Halsey at the 2016 American Music Awards on Sunday (Nov. 20), where they are nominated in four categories, including New Artist of the Year, Favorite Duo or Group — Pop/Rock, Favorite Artist — EDM and Collaboration of the Year.
